Sanitary Hose Assemblies — Ace Sanitary & Rubber Fab | Triplex Sales
Sanitary Hose Assemblies

Hose built for hygienic flow.

Triplex Sales custom-fabricates sanitary and food-grade hose assemblies from the industry's two most trusted hose programs — Ace Sanitary and Rubber Fab. Every assembly is crimped, molded, or reusable-built to spec, hydrotested, laser-marked for traceability, and certified to 3-A, FDA 21 CFR, and USP Class VI requirements.

Six core material families — rubber, silicone, PTFE / fluoropolymer, PVC, metal, and washdown — with end connections in every sanitary style (Tri-Clamp, I-Line, Q-Line, John Perry, DIN, SMS, Bevel Seat, Cam, and more). If it moves product in a dairy, brewery, pharma suite, or food plant, we can build it.

01 — Brand Programs

Two brands, complementary strengths.

Ace Sanitary and Rubber Fab give us the widest hose program a single distributor can carry. Ace's Flex-Rite™ catalog covers everything from rubber washdown to fluoropolymer-lined process hose, with Seal-Rite™ fittings crimped in-house on Flex-Crimp™ equipment. Rubber Fab — part of Garlock / EnPro Industries — adds a deep fluoropolymer and convoluted PTFE portfolio, plus proprietary blends like Tuf-Flex® and Diversa-Flex™ that solve flexibility, cleanability, and permeation problems 316L rubber won't.

Rubber Fab — Tuf-Flex®, Diversa-Flex™, Supreme-Flex

Sparta, NJ · Garlock / EnPro Industries · 3-A certified assemblies

Rubber Fab (founded 1995, part of the Garlock family of EnPro Industries since 2016) is the leading innovator of high-purity sanitary hose, gaskets, and tubing for Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Chemical, and Oil & Gas markets. Their portfolio leans heavily into fluoropolymer, metal-detectable, and high-permeation-resistance designs with several trademarked constructions that solve flex, cleanability, and contamination problems standard rubber can't.

  • FDA Rubber Hose — the core food / beverage line RFFDAE (EPDM), RFFDA (nitrile), RFFDAC (chlorobutyl), RFFDAELF (lay flat), RFF&B (crush-resistant), and RFFDABOC / RFFDAEOC Diversa-Flex™ corrugated hose for beer, wine, spirits, dairy, and general food transfer.
  • Smoothbore PTFE / FEP — RFST, RFRT, RFRTP, RFSF Supreme-Flex Seamless fluoropolymer liners with stainless-steel braid, EPDM rubber, or silicone covers. Up to 3250 PSI, −100°F to 450°F (RFSF). USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR 177.1550.
  • Convoluted PTFE — RFCTLP low-profile family Smooth helical convolutions for self-draining, easy CIP, and tighter bend radius than smoothbore. Available with silicone outer, black conductive liner, or 150# flare-thru assemblies.
  • Tuf-Flex® RFTFP — extreme-flex PTFE Smoothbore PTFE with synthetic plies and 316L wire helix under a white silicone cover. Built for load cells, dosing & filling machines, and repetitive flex cycles.
  • Metal hose, sight gauges, metal-detectable tubing Stainless corrugated metal hose, level indicators, and metal-detectable / x-ray-inspectable tubing for lines feeding detectors downstream. Plus silicone, FDA PVC, and a full fittings / adapters program.

03 — How To Spec

STAMPED — the seven questions every hose quote needs.

Every sanitary hose failure we've investigated traces back to one of the same seven spec gaps. Before we quote, we walk every assembly through the industry-standard STAMPED checklist — the same framework Ace and Rubber Fab publish in their catalogs.

S

Size

Inside diameter of the hose — the single biggest flow and pressure-drop driver.

T

Temperature

Both working (product) and cleaning temperatures — CIP is usually the limiting case.

A

Application

Equipment type, flex cycle, environmental conditions — load cell vs. transfer vs. static.

M

Media

All fluids contacted — product and cleaning — to confirm chemical compatibility end to end.

P

Pressure

Working and peak cleaning pressure — with surge and hydraulic-shock allowance baked in.

E

End Style

Tri-Clamp, I-Line, John Perry, DIN, SMS, Bevel Seat, Cam, NPT, JIC — and alignment.

D

Delivery

Packaging, MTR package, laser marking, hydro certs, and ship-date constraints.

04 — Assembly Services

Three assembly types, one shop.

Every hose ships with the assembly type the service actually needs — not whatever the shop had leftover. Radial crimp for long-life sanitary performance, molded ends where crack-and-crevice-free flow matters, reusable fittings where the plant wants to re-end hoses in the field.

01 — Assembly

Radial Crimp

Flex-Crimp™ CC38 & CC60 crimpers (240 / 265 tons) crimp Ace and Rubber Fab sanitary, industrial, and composite hose to ±0.005" every cycle. Touch-screen PLC controller, quick-change dies.

02 — Assembly

Molded Ends

Crack-and-crevice-free Hytrel, polypropylene, or polysulfone molded ends for P-series and A-series tubing. Tri-Clamp, I-Line, threaded, and bevel seat — no stainless wetted parts, lighter weight.

03 — Assembly

Reusable Fittings

Re-endable SS or Delrin nut assemblies for customers who need to service their own hose in the field. Same end-style library as radial crimp, swappable nut material.

04 — Testing

Hydro-test Bench

Programmable PLC test bench pressure-cycles every assembly before ship; test sequence saved to USB. Hydrotest certs available per assembly.

05 — Marking

Laser Marking & Molded Labels

MLM fiber laser for part number, serial, and date marking. SML molded labels permanently attach to silicone-covered hose — sealed, autoclavable, customer-custom text.

06 — Custom Fab

Specialty & Jacketed

Water-jacketed (_WJ), steam-traced (CIP insulated), and electrically heated (EHH) hose for hot oil, chocolate, gel cap, and cosmetic service. Custom reinforcement, cover compounds, and sample-valve integrations.

05 — Industries

Where Ace and Rubber Fab hose runs.

Five broad sectors cover 95% of what leaves our crimping shop. Every industry below has its own certification, chemistry, and flex-cycle profile — and every hose family above maps to one or more of them.

Food & Beverage

Milk, juice, soft drinks, edible oils, dairy & ice cream, sauces, breweries, distilleries, wine.

Pharma & Biotech

CIP / SIP process lines, load cells, fermentation, sampling, dosing & filling, USP Class VI.

Cosmetics & Personal Care

High-viscosity batching, color cosmetics, lotions, creams, and oil-based personal-care product transfer.

Chemical & Water

Aggressive CIP chemistry, high-chloride service, water treatment, specialty chemicals, low-pH acids.
